A familiar site in town and on the water in the summer, you will see scouts sailing, shopping, and hangin' out! What a great learning experience here in Abaco, so much to do and see!!!!

Hungry for fresh crab, not a problem, fresh and ready to go take out crabs in Marsh Harbour for your enjoyment! Makes for an interesting boat ride home!!!!!!!!

TROPIC BIRDS NESTING SEASON!!!

Gorgeous day in Abaco to count Tropic Birds both in the air and nesting on the ground, their nesting season is longest in the Bahamas extending from June to October. The count and information collected is done by the Bahamas National Trust on park land. So much fun to be a volunteer and have a chance to experience and learn from such dedicated people!

STEAMERS IN PARADISE ?????????

A treat to have fresh steamed New England clams flown in as a reminder of summer in the northeast, the only problem here is the beer is empty!!!!!

SIGN OF GOOD FISHING AHEAD

The Man O War bird is a welcome site to fisherman as he usually leads the way to fish underneath him. An amazing bird to watch as he does his slow circles in the sky, just another way Mother nature takes care of us.

EXTREME BUCKET WEATHER CONDITIONS!!!

The last few days have brought much needed rain, however, at the end of the day difficult to go out in without the bucket!!!

FRIENDS DROP IN !!!

Our 87 year old pilot friend and his son dropped in for a visit. Ed is no stranger to the Bahamas, having been a Permanent Resident in Eleuthera and raising his sons there. Flying since he was a teenager, Ed served in WWII as well as Korea. He was the 3000 pilot to land on the USS Ticonderoga. Got some time he will tell you some true stories that are amazing. Life in these Islands is a beautiful experience as you can always take time, sit, visit, and talk, so special these days!
