SANDY CAY MOORING PIN

Here is a picture of a broken Mooring Pin found at Sandy Cay on the bottom, chances are too big a boat (over 24 ft) used this pin causing it to be stressed and break off. Moorings are designed to hold small boats under 24 ft. and should be observed to protect reef as well as boaters. Sandy Cay is one of the most beautiful reef parks in all of the world and is right here in our wonderful backyard. Thanks to all those who help protect it and maintain these moorings!!!

RIPPING IT UP AT THE REEF BALL

The Reef Ball, put on by Friends Of The Environment, was a Huge success and lots of fun. Abaco Beach Resort did a Jam up job on the food and drinks and everyone had a great time. Anyone know these people? We may want to contact dancing with the stars!!!!!!!!!

CLASSIC COLD FRONT LINE

The winds are wisking out of the west as the line of the cold front passes over, the winds quickly switched to the NW as it moved over us on Lubbers Quarters! The next front promises our much needed rain! Hoorah!!!!

LOBSTER DINNER FOR 4

The Big Smile and he hasn't even eaten it yet, most of the fun is in the catching! This year lobster seemed plentiful and larger in size, only a couple months left and we will give them the break they deserve. Until then ENJOY!!!!!
